ุจูุณู’ู…ู ุงู„ู„ูŽู‘ู‡ู

English Translation: “In the name of Allah.”

Benefits: The Prophet ๏ทบ said: “When any of you eats, he should mention Allah’s name. If he forgets to mention Allah’s name at the beginning, he should say: ‘Bismillahi fi awwalihi wa akhirihi.'” (Abu Dawud). Saying Bismillah before eating keeps Shaytan away from your food.


2. Dua After Eating

Arabic:

ุงู„ู’ุญูŽู…ู’ุฏู ู„ูู„ูŽู‘ู‡ู ุงู„ูŽู‘ุฐููŠ ุฃูŽุทู’ุนูŽู…ูŽู†ูŽุง ูˆูŽุณูŽู‚ูŽุงู†ูŽุง ูˆูŽุฌูŽุนูŽู„ูŽู†ูŽุง ู…ูุณู’ู„ูู…ููŠู†ูŽ

English Translation: “All praise is for Allah who fed us, gave us drink, and made us Muslims.”

English Translation: “O Allah, I ask You for the blessing of entering and the blessing of leaving. In the name of Allah we enter, in the name of Allah we leave, and upon Allah our Lord we place our trust.”

Benefits: Saying this dua when entering the home brings barakah (blessings) into the house and keeps Shaytan away. It also strengthens the bond of the family inside the home.


5. Dua for Entering the Masjid

Arabic:

ุงู„ู„ูŽู‘ู‡ูู…ูŽู‘ ุงูู’ุชูŽุญู’ ู„ููŠ ุฃูŽุจู’ูˆูŽุงุจูŽ ุฑูŽุญู’ู…ูŽุชููƒูŽ

English Translation: “O Allah, open for me the doors of Your mercy.”

Benefits: This dua is recited upon entering the masjid. It is a request for Allah’s unlimited mercy and blessings. The Prophet ๏ทบ taught us to seek Allah’s mercy every time we enter His house.


6. Dua for Leaving the Masjid

ุงู„ู„ูŽู‘ู‡ูู…ูŽู‘ ุฅูู†ูู‘ูŠ ุฃูŽุณู’ุฃูŽู„ููƒูŽ ู…ูู†ู’ ููŽุถู’ู„ููƒูŽ

English Translation: “O Allah, I ask You from Your bounty.”

Benefits: After worship in the masjid, we step back into the world asking for Allah’s provision and bounty. This dua keeps the heart connected to Allah even outside the masjid.


7. Dua Before Sleeping

ุจูุงุณู’ู…ููƒูŽ ุงู„ู„ูŽู‘ู‡ูู…ูŽู‘ ุฃูŽู…ููˆุชู ูˆูŽุฃูŽุญู’ูŠูŽุง

English Translation: “In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live.”

10. Dua After Leaving Toilet

English Translation: “I seek Your forgiveness.”

Benefits: After relieving oneself, the Prophet ๏ทบ would seek forgiveness from Allah. This shows that even in moments of physical relief, a believer remains spiritually conscious and connected to Allah.


11. Dua Before Wudu (Ablution)

ุจูุณู’ู…ู ุงู„ู„ูŽู‘ู‡ู

English Translation: “In the name of Allah.”
